I said goodbye to my Life Group and ministry a few weeks ago to get a fresh start in Atlanta. Wow! I was at Saddleback Church for 20 years. It’s strange to think about starting over in a new city and new church. I’m not quite settled, yet, but hope to be soon.

My new home church is North Point Church in Alpharetta, GA. Andy Stanley is the pastor. I’ve been watching their services online for a couple of years. It’s cool to be there in person now.

One major change I’m making to my youth ministry (at least the plan for now) is to take on a group of 6th grade boys. YIKES! I know, right? I’ve been working with High School Ministry most of the 25 years I’ve been in youth ministry. I’m looking forward to working with the younger crowd, though. I’ll probably take these boys all the way through high school graduation. That’ll be pretty cool.

Hopefully, I’ll be a more active blogger. I’m sure I’ll have tons to share.

Still running Mission Shirts from Georgia. Business has been great. Please let me know if you need help with any orders of clothing (printed or embroidered), stickers, wall coverings, promotional items, etc.

Also, if you’re a youth worker and would like to write a guest post for this blog, please let me know. I’d love to have more voices contributing content to Volunteer Youth Ministry.
