Small Group Leader “Dream Team”

One of our hight school students drew this picture and posted it to Facebook. He’s got an awesome set of volunteers, Matt and Mel, who co-lead his small group. When I saw this today, it warmed my heart to think about how much love there is within the members and for the leaders.
Don’t be fooled, this group has had plenty of messy struggles. I think that’s what’s made them so close; they’ve helped each other through incredibly tough situations. Their love for each other, then, isn’t shallow and flighty. It’s a solid testament to the dedication of a small group to be more than a weekly lesson, but a life-on-life spiritual commitment.
