Memory Makers

Memories makes ministry stick in lasting ways. The last two summers at camp and also at our mission trip to New Mexico I woke my guys up with Coldplay songs. The idea was to give them a mellow and enjoyable start to the day… before pounding them with my pillow.
This afternoon I got this kinda cool text message from one of my cabin guys. It was a good reminder for me to not only focus on teaching them good biblical lessons, but to also create good memories with them at the same time. These memories will draw their minds back to times we spent building relationships with each other and growing closer to God.
