Learn From Those Who Leave

This week I’m video taping an interview with long time husband and wife volunteers of our high school ministry. The interview will be picking their brains about youth ministry, what they’ve learned, where they succeeded and the bumps and bruises along the way.

Please comment on this blog post if you have any questions you would like them to answer during the interview. Please include your city, state and church name… unless your question is sensitive in nature and you want to remain anonymous.

The interview will be conducted in 4 parts. One segment will be posted over each of the next four weeks. You won’t want to miss these. You will be able to use them in your volunteer training if you’d like. These are all-star volunteers who have 18 years worth of youth ministry wisdom to share.

  1. dennis…here’s a few…
wondering how they were invited in?
how did they first find out about serving?
    any cool/funny stories about serving?
    one great memory?
what they wish they would have known sooner?
a secret or two of staying in it this long.

and please tell them, from many of us…thank you! they are leaving big shoes behind…praying their words with encourage others to step in and invest the way they have.
