For The Money Miser
I should be more of a money miser than I am. While I am getting better, I don’t think I’m getting this good. A just found out about a married couple who take empty water bottles with them in their carry-on luggage through security at the airport. They fill them up at the water fountain once they get through being screened.
Here are a few of my thoughts on the subject:
1. I don’t think I want to be that much of a money miser. I usually make a bee-line for the Starbucks once I’m in the terminal area.
2. It’s funny they do this because they both drive fancy Mercedes. I would imagine they can afford to buy water at the airport. Maybe this trick is why they can afford to drive Mercedes
3. Even though it’s cheap, I love how clever it is. It’s so clever, in fact, that I’m willing to post it on my youth ministry blog even though it has nothing to do with youth ministry; unless it inspires you tell your students to do this next time your group flies off to some remote part of the world for your next mission trip
4. I love how this idea gets around the system of the liquid police. I love it so much, in fact, that I might just do it next time I fly.
