Bolstering My Effectiveness as a Small Group Leader

Sometimes I don’t feel a connection with the curriculum I’m supposed to teach. When this happens, I wonder what creative ideas other leaders are using to teach the same lesson. If you’ve read my other posts, you can probably guess I’m going to use Facebook to meet the need.

Knowing other leaders could benefit from the exchange of ideas, I created a group on Facebook for small group leaders in our ministry so we can discuss the curriculum from week-to-week. I expect great things from this interaction. This solution relies heavily on input from people in the group. I’ll have to be a little proactive to solicit input in the first few weeks. However, once the ideas are flowing, I expect this group to take on a life of its own.
