I found this great youth ministry blog today. I’ve started looking across the Internet to see what other youth workers are doing. I like his writing style and the simplicity of his message. Take a look. I’ve posted a segment of his 1000th post.

A lot has changed since that post; family changes, ministry changes, and changes to this blog. I know that 1000 is just a number, but it feels strange to have posted that many things to this blog. I know some of them were silly, some were time sensitive, some still make me laugh or cry and some should probably have never seen the light of day. But its all part of the journey and I am glad others have joined me as I reflect on what it means to be a youth minister, father, husband, and Christian.

  1. Thanks for the mention. I looked around here and really like what you are posting. Its great to get to see ministry from the side of a volunteer. I look forward to learning a few things from you along the way.

  2. You’re welcome… and thanks! I like how we help each other out through our blogs. It’s kind of goofy, but it’s like a modern day Acts chapter 2 – using what we have to help any youth worker in need. Thanks for the good word.
